I had a Discovery that randomly did that, I swore it was a dodgy earth crossfeeding between the doors. But I never managed to find it.Bangernomics wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2020 4:48 pm Bastard trouble free my arse, passenger window switch being a dick and will only go down and drivers side will only go up? Just when I thought I was out they dragged me back in.

Great news, glad it passed.
I did think it felt like a car that wanted to live.

Is it much drier than when they broke? That's how what I was sure was a dodgy earth always went on that Discovery.

Re: Multiplop Afterlife
Yes that’s a common factor indeed. I wonder if it sitting in the MOT place all day dried it out?

Re: Multiplop Afterlife
Put some fuel in this today and changed the oil.
Then threw a whole old bathroom in the back along with 20 bags of rubble and went to the tip pulling a trailer full of kitchen doors and various crap.
Noticed the oil light flashing the other day and shat myself until I realised it was the service warning. Reset it by using menu until it hits setup and then scrolling the menu to service values then pressing both little buttons again until it hits 12500 miles again and a beep.
Restart and the flashing light is gone. Phew.

I bet that is the sum total 'servicing' most of these ever get.

Yo, the flashy light thing is separate to the actual service counter and is something to do with the dpf, I think I knocked it off with multiecuscan as allegedly* this one has the straight thru sports dpf option.
