I had that happen in the Avenger, 3 weeks after an MOT. It wasn't a dodgy MOT either, but 3 weeks of occupational use after a year of not being used caused the rust to escape...

Only thing apparently wrong with it they could give a prohibition notice on was the fact the entire exhaust was missing and was making that much noise it got their attention.

Odd that not one of these stores have mentioned that, just that it was old and rusty...

The sill looks very much intact even if the door bottoms don't so it's definitely had some attention at some point.
