Went out on my Raleigh Chiltern earlier for a brisk outing for some milk. I caught the 8 minutes out of 12 dry hours in which it fucking shat down today. Wet bike, wet fucking jeans, wet coat - all dripping in the hallway. I'll put Raleigh away before Mrs Rocker gets home, though.....

Paul have you got a decent charger, although those batteries claim to be dry charged they really benefit from being properly charged to full once they have been filled.

I did actually look up the part at Foul-ups of Brizzle. It was originally a Torx head (576189), but has since been replaced by a Pozi-drive head (259349). If you want a Torx head that's a touch longer than the original then you can get ten ⅝" long Torx heads here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285613481496

Yes, it took 2 hours to fully charge and I've left it on overnight. The guy in the shop said leaving a smart charger on 24/7 will fuck the battery. He said three weeks on, three weeks off.
