Look at the state of this
Created a pile of scrap. It's currently sitting on axle stands hoping the wife comes back from town with the correct brake discs.
I need the car at 8am tomorrow so it will be mechanicing by torch light in subzero temps this evening. The joys.
The thread on this track rod is nonexistent beyond the locking nut. Needed heat to get the nut moving.Created a pile of scrap. It's currently sitting on axle stands hoping the wife comes back from town with the correct brake discs.

I thought that you had a massive workshop/garage that you all used to live in whilst you built Castle Drum? Or is that full of potato sorters and so forth?Drum wrote: ↑Fri Dec 29, 2023 5:02 pm Look at the state of this

A lot of the jap imports used to come with dead sealed batteries, removing the seals and topping the cells up then charging used to save loads of them.

We are on a power site but we're warned people are getting through 10 pounds of electric per night using the electric heater and you pay for how much you use.
Luckily I've just tried the gas fire and it works fine.
