The former, very easy to get on with I found, the pegs were a little high but I reckon I'd still be OK after a couple of hours.

Re: Two wheels good.
back when I were but a lad, I had a CB900 FZ with a 4-1 modified by myself with measurements kindly provided by MOTAD, I included (inside the overall length) a can on the end as at the time, there were no road bikes with cans, only racers (the Moriwaki superbike ridden by Wayne Gardner at Cadwell who was fucking epic!) and it was quite loud.
I never had a moment or problem with NOT being seen. Then winter happened (it tends to I've found) and I put it away and used my then girlfriend's GP125 and it was fucking terrifying! Not only did the bike itself feel skittish and generally, unsafe, but every cunt on the road hated me/could see me/didn't want to see me/couldn't hear me...
I put my 900 back on the road asap!

Re: Two wheels good.
140 mile trundle around fun back roads done after a clean MOT pass this morning. I think it's safe to say I'm back to two working bikes and I'd forgotten how damn light the Hornet is. Quite a few times I had to stand it up after turning into a bend as it flicks in so easy I was cornering much to tight for the bend

Re: Two wheels good.
First time in years my 14 has had a chain guard too. Mine snapped years ago, but a mate clearing her loft out gave me one of several she'd got spare. All the 14s in her house seem to get huggers so the guards come off
It should stop the underside of the tail getting covered in flung chain lube at least

Local cheap CB1000 with year's mot.
Shame it's been bastardised.
Is it just me or does this look like a dog's dinner?

That tyre is about 400 miles old and I don't give a fuck what you think anyway.
