I know this is obviously the finest forum in the world etc but I have been enjoying a Facebook group called something like old worthless and unloved motorcycles.
As a currently theoretical biker I and loving seeing all the utter shite (and some quite decent stuff) people are buying, working on and riding around on. It led me to look at spears or reepers 125s on eBay. There are lots of “just fucking scrap it” Chinese bikes on offer for 500 sheets that must be worth 5 in reality, but it did make me think that in an age when almost no-one fixes anything there ought to a chance of buying wrecks ans fixing them on a smallish budget (for fun not profit).

There were a couple of Yam 125s and couple of Suzukis that I thought ought to be worth a shot at revival.

Tbh so many learners are on chinky bikes now there might even be a market to fix them up. One the occasions I've had owt to do with them parts are damn cheap
