And then there's the chuntering along in top gear from 3mph making the whole drive train rattle too.

In the office early this morning so managed to speak to Mark and Becky in person.

What actually happened is as follows.

Punter did indeed get into that Ioniq taxi in a pissed state. He paid the fare the other end. He left his £2000* Samsung phone in the car and it slipped under the front passenger seat. He contacts our office and is prompted to our lost property procedure on our website. He's not happy with this. Operator tells him to ring the phone but punter says that he doesn't want to drain the battery. Punter calls the operator a cunt and slams the phone down. Punter tracks location of his phone and he and some friends head off in two cars to retrieve it from the driver. Punter and his mate find the driver outside the DSA test centre of WTC motorcycle instructor fame and block the driver in. Asian driver hasn't a clue what's going on, panics and drives off with the punter clinging to his bonnet. Driver thinks he's going to be on the sharp end of an unprovoked racist attack. Driver phone office and operator phones the police who are in the car park to meet him.

Punter. "Some Paki driver of yours asked me for cash up front the other night".
WTC. "That's company policy after midnight".
Punter."I'm insulted. Doesn't he know who I am?"
WTC. "Probably. Your name would be on the booking screen".
Punter. "I'm tempted to have him slapped!"
WTC. "Why have him slapped?"
Punter. "He offended me in front of a lady I was with".
WTC. "No, I mean why get someone else to give him a slap? Are you scared of a 5'7" Paki giving you a hiding?"

In other news. Last night I had a job to Man Air and as I was unloading the cases a Paki driving a Bolton plated Prius that was probably older than the last white schoolgirl he trafficked from his mate's takeaway drove into me. By that I mean ME, not my cab.
