What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

You can all FUCK OFF!

I do deserve it though. I am thinking of having that wing re-sprayed which is one reason I'm not toooooooo bothered.

But they'll never match it exactly so you'd better have a bare shell respray so it looks right.

I'll have you oiks know that so far, it's had two back doors and the bootlid re-sprayed and the paint match is perfect! The finish is as good/better than Jaguar ever managed and even I am happy with it!

Also, the interior is perfect (apart from the headlining naturally) and is a lovely cream colour with walnut inlays everywhere. It is, a very pleasant place to be :) Even with the back windows permanently open and dog drool running/streaming down the flanks, it is a jolly decent old dollop.

But then it fucking should be for the price I (over)paid for it!

What SLK is this? R170 or R171? Heaven forfend it's a 172 or I shall be jealous/spitting feathers!

I have realised that I quite like these pre facelift ones, mainly because they don't have plastic side skirts and cleaner bumpers. I also like the black lower sections.

Sat here in Bristol (shithole) hoping this sickly Saab doesn't turn out too expensive to fix. Still it started this morning and got me here with no complaints. Hot starting problem it seems...
