Two wheels good.

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Triumph Trophy 1200, all the bags and topbox etc, looks really tidy in BRG Metallic, V, W or X reg, £2000.

Good deal or shit?

Did Honda sell them in Portugal?

Honda never sold them in Spain. Ive never seen one here, not even on any of the Internet bike sales websites.

There's a vfr800 with all the luggage on FB for £1400. Very tempting

Bear in mind, that this will be an.... ornament! I can't ride anymore (or not for long anyway as the old left leg is a tad... troublesome if pressed into service) and the Triumph is both local and in really nice condition.

Not worth the hassle if I'm honest, just a toy...

Two of my mates both rode their 1200 Trophy's to the Czechia event we go to. I remember they were huge things, and a bit of a job to push around when parking up. Not what you want when "getting on a bit".

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder of course, but there are much nicer bikes to have as ornaments.

Been watching the La Bresse hillclimbs that took place last week. Awesome riders, with balls bigger than Mario's to ride some of those bikes (including a Honda CR1000 two stroke) up an almost vertical cliff face.

You wouldn't want to get caught under some of those back tyres when you fall off. They'd whip the guts right out of you.

Edit for typo

Ha! I just started watching the Arette last night! I discovered that and the Belgian climb a few years ago, fantastic stuff and I think very occasionally some mad bastard does actually manage to go all the way.
