Belated "sorry to hear" from me, Hooli, I have been away from the pooter and just read the Omnibus edition of your last few pages. What a bastard in the middle of what looked to be a really good trip....Hope it is sorted with minimal bullshit.

How's your ankle feeling? If they do but the gear lever shaft back together would you be able to ride anyway?

Yeah it's pretty much ok today. I knew it was only a sprain or something. I think as the bike got rammed sidewYs it hit my ankle as I had my foot down and probably pinned it down as I took off.
Found a bruise on my right inner thigh that matches hitting the tank as well.

If it helps ,they could fit the gears on the handlebars and also push them down to brake , like an INVACAR!DodgeRover wrote: ↑Mon Aug 28, 2023 9:25 pm How's your ankle feeling? If they do but the gear lever shaft back together would you be able to ride anyway?

It's a fucker that happened, I consider myself lucky not to have had any dramas on a bike on holiday. Best wishes.

Re: Monkey see, Monkey go - To Transylvania
Any suggestions for websites that actually show any flights to the UK currently? Tried the ones Google suggests like Skyscanner, but nothing.
I know I've heard on the news there's issues, is it really that bad?
I was looking at maybe Friday as I must be able to find out what's happening with my bike by then.

If you can get across to the Adriatic coast I'm sure there will be space on one of the daily inflatables....

Paul's flight left only 12 minutes late.Hooli wrote: ↑Tue Aug 29, 2023 8:07 am Any suggestions for websites that actually show any flights to the UK currently? Tried the ones Google suggests like Skyscanner, but nothing.

Just Google flights from where you are to the UK, that's what I did and found Wizzair was one.
There was a flight on Friday when I checked a couple of days ago but it's no longer on the Wizzair website, I guess being a Bank Holiday week has boosted demand.
EBookers changes Brasov to Bucharest.
I tried Skyscanner, it only suggests flights if you select return rather than one way. WTF?

Ahh I was obviously looking one way and getting nothing. Ta for trying it.
I had tried Google, it suggested flights but when I clicked they weren't there on whatever site it took me too.
