Left hooker too. When I came out of aldi they were sitting in it. I complimented thrm on it and they spoke decent English. They're accent was Dutch I think.

I think that all those PV544 Volvos were left hookers as was the PV444. They weren't sold here, if I am right the Amazon was the first model that was sold here. Awaits Merc to correct me or say that I am right.
Yes I believe all the 444/544 and the Duett wagons were LHD, even though they sold in large numbers in South Africa. The Amazon went on sale here when the Concessionaires were formed to handle UK sales in 1958, within 18 months the P1800 was being built here and by 1965 Hampshire Constabulary were using 121 Estate Cars - an unheard-of switch from domestic products.
