PAS pump ordered, branded as "APLR"...

Image

And I've also ordered a new serpentine belt, which might be Shitpart but at least it doesn't have any moving parts. Until it shreds.

Total spend so far:

Hub £54.49
PAS pump £84.90
Serpentine belt £10.95

Total £150.34, but I'll need PAS fluid, brake cleaner and a roll of paper towel as well.

That's not bad, considering I've had this Disco on the road for 16 months now & this is the first time it's needed anything other than service items.
On the road:
1998 Disco 4.0 V8 (manual)
1994 Vauxhall Calibra 3.0 V6

Running but need fettling:

1986 Honda CBX750F
1991 Maserati 222 SE
1990 Yamaha XJ900F

Tax & MOT-exempt, woohoo!

1982 Suzuki GSX1100SZ Katana

I often use it for fuel filters etc, it's like a better version of carb cleaner.

Don't your bike building neighbours have an account with Hi-level or Staniforths? Just get them to order you some up.

Unfortunately the son has moved to Hull & taken the business with him, so it's not as easy these days.
