Based on average mileage it's about 23 years old and looks fine for it.LynehamHerc wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:16 pm You mean after all that money we paid for it you haven't looked after it?

Turns out I have a winking headlamp. Checked the connections under the bonnet where they enter the headlight bar, all fine. Will have to pop the light unit itself out.

Are these still around in France at sensible prices? Given what people are asking over here it would be worth bringing several back if they are still unloved

DIY Charleston or Bamboo?SV2 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 11:21 am I'm in 2 minds about the paint. Some of my favourites had the worst paint jobs, mismatched panels etc; but on the other hand I've never had a "nice" car so would it be nice to have a shiny one?
I do think what it has could be improved, but... Can I be arsed? At least 2 doors need more paint, and.i doubt my skill/patience for that.

I think that the cheap source dried up over a decade ago.DodgeRover wrote: ↑Tue Aug 22, 2023 10:45 pm Are these still around in France at sensible prices? Given what people are asking over here it would be worth bringing several back if they are still unloved

Yes and apparently importing cars seems to have become an expensive and involved job.

Same as my NC750, new in April, 12,000 kms now and with a few scratches and worn through paint caused by my boots. Why be precious if being ridden?
Not used the NC much since the beginning of June, as it is too hot to do any long trips, so staying at home. However lots of trips planned from October onwards!
