Well I have bought another rotten old British car. Well hopefully not too rotten, It will get delivered in a couple of weeks. Turns out I have probably dealt with the seller before as he has been dealing in P5's for years over in Essex. The interior is a bit of a mix and match nut he is throwing in some extra bits to tidy it up.

I don't know where he is dreaming up his prices as you could import the parts cheaper from the States than he is asking. Considering how few owners there are of them over here breaking it is rather stupid. It is a bit overpriced but it does depend how nice a car it is. I suspect it is a bit of a dog which is why it hasn't sold. It certainly beats a mong trolley though and not much more money.

I’m fairly sure I posted about this, when it was on eBay around a year ago. Sold for $750 and was local.
How I kicked myself afterwards for not buying it.

Now I have another chance:

But I fear I will be like the current owner. Look at it for a year and then realise just how much there is to do to it and what it would take to get it going.

Still, it would be nice…

If that was in the Uk it would get snapped up as there are a lot of seriously rusty Fulvias kicking about. I don't suppose it is so easy to find an engine out in the States though.

Do it! Naturally I guess it'd be a LS swap...

Does no title make it an issue to get on the road? Presumably an issue if exported too.

Presumably the British Standard tag suggests it's been exported from the UK. (Maybe nicked too?)
