What's it off !!

Post by panhard65 »

Ok maybe we could have a thread of obscure parts for the more knowledgeable to identify weird shit. Or if not who can tell me what this VDO rev counter is from. It was in the boot of the NSU along with a couple of Ford didtributors (seized) an Audi hubcap and an old Hoover

This is where Junkman would come to the rescue.
As it's VDO I'm guessing something German, an Audi or maybe an Opel.

Definitely German, based on the "U/min" (Umdrehungen pro Minute = rpm).

Can't help beyond that, though.

Something with a pushrod engine I'd say so an Opel.

1970-1976 Audi 100 coupe S. Probably also used in upmarket versions of the Audi 100 C1.

The temp and fuel gauges are probably worth selling on their own if the complete thing isn't worth selling
