As I suspected I was right about everything.

He's always cranky as his bollock trolley is still being developed. Rumour has it the bowling balls they're testing it with keep on bending the axle.

Didn't get a pic but today I was behind a 2019 fiat tipo with boot. The rear lights were quite cool but I didn't know what it was till I got close at the lights. Boggo spec with trims once I got past.
This one was metallic dark blue but here's a white one.

That XJ81 in Menorca may have been an Insignia. There is one on the island originally sold in Barcelona and now resides somewhere around Alaior. Possibly the ice cream guy (does those lovely citrus ones).LynehamHerc wrote: ↑Sat May 13, 2023 3:01 pmNo, this was in Es Castell in Minorca.NorfolkNWeigh wrote: ↑Sat May 13, 2023 2:56 pmWell as most people in your part of the World drive Mobility cars or untaxed Mitsubishi L200s , the Jag was Tom and the R4 would have been Wuvvum. So who the fuck was in the Evoque?LynehamHerc wrote: ↑Sat May 13, 2023 1:42 pm Sat on a bench at a bus stop, because I'm a pleb, I saw an Evoque Convertible and a XJ81 V12, which sounded absolutely glorious as he opened the throttles when he reached the village limits. As a contrast a Renault 4 went by on the opposite side of the road a few seconds later.
Everything else is modern/ish stodge.

Re: Wobland Spottage
I think I’ve posted this before. It belongs to a 23 year old tech who owns all the Saabs. Along with this one he’s got a 99 Turbo and a barn full of others he’s restoring. His grandfather owned the Saab dealership in Ipswich so it’s obviously rubbed off on him. His daily driver is a late Saab estate.

I've seen you post old Saabs before, not sure if it was that one or not.

Re: Wobland Spottage
Saw a corker on the way home last night, I am hoping it is local somewhere as it needs a proper look and I only saw it through about three streams of going-home traffic.....
HB Viva Estate with Magnum front. I couldn't see whether the front wings and bonnet were modified or actually off a Magnum but it didn't sound like it was still wheezing along on 1159ccs. Really looked the bollocks, I had forgotten how pretty they are.

Re: Wobland Spottage
Years ago we fitted a droop snoot Firenza front end to an HB estate, it looked pretty good. HB Vivas were once my choice of cheap runabouts, I think the most expensive was 65 quid. None of them gave me any grief. Also had an FD estate, bit pricey at 100 quid, that served me faithfully for 2-3 years with no bother. They are nice looking cars.
