What Ho, Guys 'n' Gals

Post by SillyBilly »

Hi All,

Like many, I got here via the beige AS.

Have much chod.

But for all the wrong reasons, the general public seem to think I'm some twunt with a fleet of classics!

It's for you, the real cognoscenti to decide and advise.

Lifelong JaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaG licker, hence 1994 XJS,

Pervgeot 406 coupe 2001, luckily it's the 2l pez version.

Alfa GTV coupe de lusso, 1999 3l 24V flavour.

Lastly, my beyooootiful Alfa 164, again 3l and Super from 1994.

Toodle Pip

Afternoon, the Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag sounds good. I'd love a XJS but they cost too much.

The Jaaaaaaaaaaaaag is an AJ6 4 litre, 4 sp auto. Having had a pre HE in the late seventies, that cost a few hundred quid every time I turned the key, let alone the 20 gall tank wasn't big enough to get to the shops. I saw the error of my ways. Therefore around twenty years ago I went for the 4L final facelift version. Overall it has been fairly reasonable* to look after.

Cheers,

Billy
