You're going to need to order some more patience too, I should think.
It's absolutely zephyr six.

With exception of maybe a water pump pulley, I think I'm at a halt point with this engine in terms of money spent. I was hoping to make it a cheap streetable motor but I'm just going to save up and buy a known good engine and transmission for the car instead.

Your patience will thank you as well as your wallet....I'm sure I still have bits of dynamo mounting lurking in boxes to this day.

Yeah. People suggested to get the full set of pulleys off a scrap car, or buy an aftermarket set.

Both are in the $600-800 range, by which time I might as well just drop $2500 on an engine and transmission instead of having old or pretty pulleys on a worn out engine (even if both the new engine and transmission are tired, the possibility of collections of working parts are more likely).

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

You're going to need to order that 440 you were talking about/b] I should think.

Nuts.

I got fed up of the badge falling off each time I shut the hood.the letters are meant to be held in with those pressed-steel PAL Nuts. Couldn't find any small enough locally so bought something else that'll work.

No longer loose.

The legs have a spiral cut into them from the PAL Nuts so the nylon nuts bit into that nicely and hold the letters in place.
That'll do for today.

Decided to see if the top of the wing would take a shine. The paint is unbelievably bad.

Had a couple minutes so pushed the polishing mop over the hood.

Yeah, makes the car look a little more cared for. I'll just buff the rest of it up. That paint is like craters on the moon.
