Just went to tax it and found it's not been set to historic yet. Means I can't go for a drive until the V5 is back. Gah!
Well I could but I'm not paying out for a few days tax to then get the V5 and pop down to the post office to change over. The gov gets enough of my money as it is...

Perhaps I should change those original plates to modern stamped reproductions 
It'd need an MOT to get the plate off. I am actually intending to MOT it at some point...
Needs a few bits fixing first though as it'll fail on some electrical bits.

Declare it MOT exempt when you change the tax class.

It's already declared as MOT exempt. But the tax class hasn't been changed to historic and it's still on PLG.
I mean I could tax it and then get a refund when the V5 arrived. But that'd be a £30 or so months tax cost.
