I'm sure that I've said this before but tough shit.

The Finance Director of the firm I qualified with had a XJ4.2C, what a good looking car. Rumour had it he wanted a XJ-S but was too fat to fit in it.
The MD had a 450SLC and the other director a 733i. They changed their cars every 3 or 4 years and apparently we could always sell the Merc for more than we paid for it. A bit of a difference to their later years of being volume driven.

The 6.0 Jaguar XJ-RS was another car I was destined to get to drive but was foiled at the last moment when the punter sent his minion out to meet me with a wad of £50s that would block a reasonably sized drain to pay his business rates. IIRC, I'd even bribed someone to swap shifts so I could uplift that Jag.
