Day trip to Brid as it was sunny.
Hmm bugger ..
Switched to reserve and it stopped after two miles. I had dirt holding the reserve valve open ages ago, I bet it's similar again. Rather annoying though at 134miles from full, as there should have been about a gallon left which suggests the reserve tap is stuck shut.
Guess I'll take it apart tomorrow then.
Two wheels good.

I was home when I posted that, if that's what you were trying to ask. Breakdown only took about 30mins to arrive.

Re: Eddie Honda's wheels of steel (and occasionally alloy)
Update on the Hornet.
It wasn't the fuel tap exactly, the vacuum pipe to the tap had split. That explains why I got a gallon of fuel out of the tank when I took it apart today but none was getting to the engine. I've sorted it now and fixed the sticky choke that sometimes didn't go off when it should.
Damned ungrateful jap crap, it'd better behave for a while now.

I've seen them on bikes about thirty years old so not that new.

- I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Thirty six is about thirty as a rough estimate. I can't recall exactly what I've worked on that old as I'm not the forum Rainman.Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Tue Dec 27, 2022 6:11 pmPost-1986.
