Re: Ford meets suzuki. Oh dear.
The big question is what's the mot left on the astra and what are you asking please. Thanks Mr claimWarren t claim wrote: ↑Sat Dec 24, 2022 5:22 pmIt'll do mid 30s the same as your Focus.
You can buy quite a lot of petrol for the cost to supply and fit a suzuki gearbox.

Oh damn. That could be interesting trying to get it 100 mile back home on a pre booked mot at this time of year.

Had that engine in a Fabia. Despite being an antiquated lump, it was surprisingly economical. Running to town and back got 40+mpg easily. Driving it lightly got nearly 50mpg.

At this point I'm time Im just considering all options. As it stands now I'm scrapping Ignis at earliest opportunity and if I've not sorted something out by end of week I've no option but to give up driving. Don't fancy doing that as I've felt so much better mentally feeling like I'm contributing to my house since I've been doing the takeaway but will just have to see. I'm in talks with Warren about the astra so will see where it goes.
