VW LT 35 - what do I need to check, please?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Would have thought petrol LPG world be ideal to make extra money with all the emissions charges etc you are likely to incur with a diesel

Would LPG get you in on a CAZ or ULEZ at this age vehicle? The problem usually at this age for emissions zones seems to be the lack of NOX and HC figures on the V5.

It does in Birmingham, so I assume the other new tolls are the same apart from London.

Good luck. I'm surprised to see one non rusty. It should be hanging at that age.

I would say an over zealous young MOT man attempting to cover their back should vosa stop it within 3 months and find something he had missed.

When there are user inputted advisories, it usually screams to me of an over zealous tester. Makes it worth a look and check over rather than an avoid wasting time seeing it imo.

If this was a truck to make money, I'd imagine most people would want a diesel as every penny counts in the race to the bottom vehicle transportation business. So it's desirability is probably a lot less and worth less as a result.
What petrol lump's fitted in it?
It's a 2.3 Mercedes M111 because VW and Mercedes collaborated on vans, LT, Crafter, Sprinter etc.

The M111 is a superb engine. It's incredibly tough and reliable, the last good four pot petrol engine they made. They built 2.0 and 2.3 with or without a supercharger.
