Nope must be before my time, doesn't ring a bell at all. If Carnell's was over the road I suspect where you where is now Halfords or Boots.

Carnell's is still there, well it's J&S now & stopped selling bikes early this year. It's all accessories & stuff now.

To be totally honest, I don't think I would've bothered taking my bike test if I couldn't have squeezed in my test before the following test was introduced.

I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

It was sold to Action Honda in the early 80s, they bought all 4 branches. No idea what happened to them after as I came down here pretty damn sharp!

VFR is back at home.
New discs, new pads, fork seals, steering head bearings, one of the brake bolts had actually been glued in, so that was replaced. That must have been done on behalf of the owner my brother bought it off, some place oop north, I think.
Oil, filter, sparking plugs, airfilter and coolant change.
The bill came to £17 less than I paid for the bike, so a good job I bought it cheap.
This was the first time I have been out the house for days and I didn't realise how cold it had got, so really not looking forward to the commute at dark o clock on monday morning, when I go back to work.
I don't mind the cold, it's the ice that scares me, very busy roads so the slower you go the closer the car drivers get.

Beautiful bikes the Italian 50's. Can't think of a single Japanese 50cc moped I'd pick over one of the Italian bikes. And their 125 cc two strokes are even better

I've got to admit the one we have looks stunning for a 50, obviously once it's running it'll be better..
The incoming one has been sat down the side of a garage for 5 years since the owner passed his car test so may only be fit for spares but we'll see

The old Yamaha TZR50s they used to build but not import to England were pretty cool looking, I've got a feeling MBK had a hand in those though, likewise the DT50R

Mini Honda c90 copy spotted in Thailand , RKM 110cc it was tiny I’ve never seen one before .
The Thai Valentino Rossi lookalike caught me getting a photo with it , it shifted up the road pretty quick with a big girl on the back 😀
