How much?
Not sure. Another place wanted £45 per axle. Too far for me to walk home though before work.

Standard price is £20 per tyre round here for fitting and disposal, that's at a wide range of places too. I only used to buy part worns for snotters or low powered cars but that was years ago. My local independent tyre shop does good deals on Falkens so I've been buying those for some years now and they seem good.

Falkens are a decent mid range tyre.

I won’t buy new budgets - it’s rarely much more £££ for a good name tyre with A or B wet grip and noise. AAA tyres, Chinese shit, cracked and delaminating after less than three years FFS.

I had some landfails fitted to my v70 about ten years ago. They failed the 2nd mot due to cracked sidewalls. Still plenty of wear left on the tread.

Nobody beats...

I'm sure* another variant went:

"Nobody beats Budget"
"For British-made remoulds"

You know the rating system is unregulated bullshit, right? Its just a gimmick.
