Re: What did you do today?
Started on trying to make the space out back of the house a nice place to be.
Nice set of string lights. Next up, some things to put on the wall, for a bit of a Mediterranean feel.

Met up with Dvee8 and Gm this morning to play cars. GM's exo is something else and probably the best driving experience I've ever has and that includes porsche, fezzas and the like. I couldn't stop grinning.

Re: What did you do today?
I retired the Jag this morning as the Merc is/was overdue a run. I'm beginning to think the battery on the Jag is on the way out so exhumed the jump pack from the spare wheel well of the Merc. I intended to give it a gentle top-up of its charge...
Flat as a dab!
Seems some soft-cocked pillock (me) left it switched on when last used (last winter) and it has drained all tis energy away. Charged it and it 'seems' to be back to full strength, but we will find out in a few days when it's back to being flat, or, worse when I actually need it to work as the Battery on the Jag is fubar.
I like the Jag lots but I like the sodding Merc as well! So different to drive/use and it was nice to have the heated seats and the air scarf blasting away along with the type of volcanic heater that only convertibles seem to have. First time I've been warm in days!

A truck full of guys arrived today.
Phil
They used a machine to make gutters.
Took them about 45 minutes to put up. Each side of the house is just a single piece, with the only joins at each corner.
Really happy with that. It'll be nice to not have a waterfall of water to go down the back of my neck when going in and out of the house in the rain.Phil

Less than a year, which explains its surprising shininess despite living in a hedge. With a new rear beam it now resides on my drive with a fresh ticket

Re: What did you do today?
Today I spent way too much money buying an English speaking voice synth for the Renault 25. The daft thing is it is coming from the Netherlands which is the last place I expected to find an English synth. I just hope it does the trick when it turns up, as I am fed up with it talking French to me. At least I now know the French for brake failiure and fuel level low.
