I’m manoeuvring the hateful lump a few yards on private land so I can get a proper car out which is blocked in behind it.
I will not put the seatbelt on. Fuck you, modern car manufacturers and their silly nannying ways, treating their customers like fucking imbeciles.
The 'modern cars are shit' thread.

75s should have had a bingbong but with a one-time over-ride, accompanied by a synthesised Sgt. Wilson saying "Do you think that's wise, sir?"
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

I actually like the reminders for stuff like keys in, lights on etc.
The seatbelt one doesn't tend to arise as I tend to put mine on out of habit even if I am just moving the car on the drive.

The only one which any car needs is lights left on.
That’s sensible.
All the other sirens and bongs can gtf.

All vans I've had turn the lights off with the ignition. No idea why cars don't do it.

Because van drivers are idiots and can't be trusted to not ruin company property.
I've coded newer VAG to do it like a Golf V and such. Unfortunately the TT mk1 can't as it's too old and has only a simple light circuit.
Without auto lights, I find it handy to just leave the lights on and let them turn off when the key is out.

They named a bar in Sunderland after the TT.
I'm meeting my mate on Thursday night, the man who claimed to have found and publicised the original TT's handling problem by nearly killing himself in one.
