It's not fair. You're meant to sell them at a catastrophic loss like me.

Re: My slightly knackered old cars
Are you sure it's a moped? I thought mopeds had to have pedals?

Re: My slightly knackered old cars
Only pre '74 (ish) were pedals a requirement, after that they were just to have a designed speed of no more than 28mph.
Hence early FS1E, Fantics and Simpsons etc were highly sought after as with the hidden pedals they would top out near 50mph.

Not since nineteen-canteen.
...They don't need to be 50cc either.

Pretty sure the legal definition of a moped is under 50cc.Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Mon Nov 07, 2022 9:09 pmNot since nineteen-canteen.

Re: My slightly knackered old cars
Just picked up this old shitter, a seat Toledo previously owned by one of the beige "in crowd" which he sold last year to an unsuspecting victim who was less than impressed with the long list of faults he encountered.
It actually drives ok but there's a hesitancy when accelerating, I had a quick look at the air intake and throttle body for air leaks. The base of throttle seems quite soft so thinking the rubber base might need changed.
