My slightly knackered old cars

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Cortina seems to be in a nice condition, think I might change to a black grille though.

I thought it was advertised at a lot more than £1000? Maybe I miss read.
Hopefully it's staying in the country and not going to Africa

That Cortina looks very nice. They do look better with a black grill but the colour coded grill is original on the Crusader so if you do change it keep the blue grill for when you sell. Black bumpers and window trim are also original on two tone Crusaders. Single colour Crusaders had chrome bumpers and trim. A good friend of mine has a Crusader the same colour but with chrome bumpers, his father bought it new and wanted two tone so the selling dealer sprayed the bottom of a Titan blue single colour Crusader in Strato silver.

Mot didn't quite go to plan, I managed to crack the sump off a folded down metal post when directed to park by the owner of the garage. I wasn't impressed.
