Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Tommy's Jaaag had the ABS light on after an extended period of non-use, even with a fresh battery. After a couple of restarts and trips round the block it was still on.

Next time I borrowed it, it had magically sorted itself out and had a MOT.

My smart charger lives in the naughty corner as it isn't very smart at all, it could almost be a mini-Python sketch

Ok Smart- Charger, Do your thing [CLICK]
What Thing ?
Charge the battery
What Battery ?
That one there on the end of your wires!
I see NO battery here.
There, right in front of you, the Black thing with the terminals poking out
I am a smart charger and that is NOT a battery!
OK - Fast-Charge mode [CLICK]
NO, that isn't going to work as I am not connected to a battery, I am a smart charger and I know best.

Then it finds itself back on the shelf and I lug out the big jump start pack that is a bit like R2D2.
I don't use the jump start setting, I use the low charge rate, 30 minutes of humming later the car starts without issue.

The smart charger has failed to be of any use at all, not even once.
I did just the once, in the name of science retry the Smart Charger on a car after using the Orange hummer to intervene..

Ok Smart- Charger, Do your thing [CLICK]
Nothing to do here, its fully charged already, what are you stupid ?

My charger is smarter than that, it will do flat flat batteries. The only problem is that it's so smart, it doesn't actually come with any leads and croc clips.

The BT range is good for my back door. Saves venturing out when it's pissing down to check things.

I have a Lidl "Smart Charger" and it's just as fucking useless. Unless the battery is almost fully charged it says fuck off. Good job I have a couple of older non smart ones that just charge batteries!

Bought for £112.75, shipped by Amazon, sold by "Nomadic Leisure" £110. (The extra £2.75 is the difference between UK and Irish VAT.)

You got a link please? That's almost £60 cheaper than I've seen.
