I may bring it back to standard- if I get stuck on the speed bumps around here it's going back up.

You should bring it up just for the sublime ride this will provide and to sort the front end geometry for some incredible directional stability they simply don't bloody make anymore because of that fucking Nürburgring that not even its mother loves. How difficult is it to get springs for it?

A pair of preloved ones shouldn't be too much. The back of just on blocks so that's easy.

I spoke to a few people and they suggested to first attempt split the manifolds, tighten it down to the block then re-tighten the manifolds together. If they're not warped but simply out of line then they may end up sealing better just via this method.

As it is they're not seating at all well, doesn't help there's inadequate gasket. Apparently double-gasketing works too in lieu of machining material away.

That order of tightening makes sense to me.
