They do absolutely nothing for me christine, awful shaped things with disgusting interiors that sound like a bag of wank.

If you played top trumps as a kid, it was always good to have the 911 card though . Unless the other bloke had Lamborghini Countach... :D

Unfucked cars are easier to work on. You can set straight into sanding the paint off and cutting the springs without worrying about the floors falling out.
1976 Triumph Dolomite 1850HL - Field based greenhouse.
1977 Triumph Dolomite 1300 - Lean green oil dripping machine.
1983 Triumph Acclaim L - Japanglish daily runner.
1989 Volvo 740GLE Estate - Mobile storage unit.

He said 928, not 911.

They're an absolute monster... I once had a go in a correctly-gearboxed (i.e. manual) one and it was a total flying machine.

I would destroy my tongue licking the absolute fuck out of a nice manual 928 nowadays.
On the road:
1998 Disco 4.0 V8 (manual)
1994 Vauxhall Calibra 3.0 V6

Running but need fettling:

1986 Honda CBX750F
1991 Maserati 222 SE
1990 Yamaha XJ900F

Tax & MOT-exempt, woohoo!

I used to get a lift to work with a contractor who had one of these 928 Porkers. A totally unmessed with basic one. I absolutely adored that thing. There is one in my fantasy garage for sure.
