Re: Monkey bike, Monkey ride
It’s programmed into our psyche to be moved by that combination of sounds. Generations of rabbles have been steered into certain death using just the same.
Anyway back to reality. Very moving yes.

Re: Monkey bike, Monkey ride
Very moving....This ceremony (wherever and whenever it is held) I find more moving each passing year. I must have attended dozens and dozens of local Remembrance Day parades and to see the once-full ranks of veterans dwindling to almost none now is quite saddening.
Equally sad to see are the younger guys, many much younger than I now who visibly mourn their comrades from more recent and less publicised conflicts - seeing that post that Warren put on of the young Para put me directly in mind of these.
Good to see there are ways to ensure we never forget.

Re: Monkey bike, Monkey ride
Swissshire achieved, land of the purple Milka cows etc.
Susten Pass today, about 7,250ft to check how tractors work at altitude. The answer is quite well as I proved by catching a KTBoom and some bloke on a GS said no when I waved him past. Earlier in the day I did the length of the Black Forest including Germany's highest water falls and some huge lakes in Swissshire.
It's still my heels touching down first, but as I've upped the preload it seems to lean a lot more first, to the point I'm wondering how the hell it corners like it does. HDs shouldn't be as much fun.
Pics in a random order as admin here is bloody useless.

- I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Re: Monkey bike, Monkey ride
Then it rained, a lot. Got a few drops as warning but within seconds it was like someone dropped a swimming pool on me. Inch deep water running down the concrete road made life fun as I could barely see due to steamed up sunglasses.
It was worse than this pic at times but I wasn't undoing my waterproofs to get my fone out again. Plus I've now got black hands as it's the first time my new gloves have got properly wet
