What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

I presume that means lots of cars there are driven uninsured and untaxed?
I'd say so. Mind you, is it not 5%* uninsured in the UK?

These belonged to a funeral director who passed away and were sold off. They went for 2-300 each ! A couple of hearses and limo's were saved but the rest went to a banger racer apparently.

Did some basic checks today: oil (clean and to the mark) power steering (ditto) water (likewise) then topped up the washers and found the pollen filter (easy) and it's okay but not sparkling. Checked the air filter as well, nice and clean so I believe the servicing...

No one EVER changes the pollen filter so that's excusable.

Can you keep your eyes peeled for anybody selling off a Fairmont station wagon, quite a few got used as private ambulances and the interior looks unmodified in the ones I've seen.

Pollen filter in the Avensis I had could be changed in a minute. As it was clean, that was a clue to how easy it was to change.

The one in my Doblo I've got to do this week. It looks a bit involved, so I doubt it has ever been changed.....
