Same for me but there were some pithills a couple of hundred yards away so they were pushed down there. I've still got the biggish scar on my left shin from playing on them.
I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

That reminds me if my childhood back in Forest Gate (the posh part of East Ham) back in the mid 1960's
There always seemed to be dumped cars back then, even though most households could not afford them.
I’m taking issue with Forest Gate being the posh part of anywhere. I grew up in Stratford and went to school in Forest Gate. Stratford was grim enough but Forest Gate? Fucking hell it was shit! Don’t think it’s improved much nowadays.

Google if you’re so fucking clever , me picture of a young Fred West crossing Oxford Street by Selfridges with a Swiss registered Fiat Dino Coupe behind him.

T'was a leafy suburb then.
To live there now would cost me over half a million quid for a 3 bedroom terraced house in the steet I used to live in.
Fuck. That.
The house in Stratford that I sold for £85k is, according to zoopla, worth over £700k! Fuck. That. Too.
It was a shithole back then and as far as I can tell the years passing haven’t made it any better.

There’s a strong community spirit in Stratford these days. Here’s a street party the locals held just before the Olympics.
