I had my metro gti at a garage years ago as the indicator fuse kept blowing. He spent three hours chasing wiring and found nothing wrong. He just added 5 amps to the existing fuse.
I asked if that was not dangerous? He said the fuse will pop long before the wiring will get hot.
He wasn't wrong and it was fine for the next few years till I flogged it.

Have just done the logbook change online for the Aprilia. Not done one like that before, do I have to wait for the new logbook to come through before I can sorn it online? Doesn't seem to be a way to do it otherwise?
Thank you

Bub there's probably a high resistance somewhere that's causing the fuses to pop, LEDs won't be the issue as they draw much less power than normal bulbs

I think you can sorn it using the reference off the new keeper section of the old V5. Pretty sure I've used that to tax a bike once.

It's random whether it lets you or not.
I should've been able to take the plate off the van but they just said no, post it in, with no reason or excuse.

I had a Volvo 360 that used to blow the indicator fuse every time it rained. I figured out it was the tow bar electrical socket filling up with water and shorting out when I used the indicators - so I snipped the wire and never had any further bother (had nothing to tow in those days).

Obviously wouldn't have been an issue if it had been an Audi or a BMW :)
