Mine is the ex-Geordie Mario's (with the pink poofty planters round his rear entrance) cabriolet.

I thought I recognised the colour, it was my mums car, I was the one who found it and bought it for her. He got it running again in the end after bending one of the con rods at a right angle but it's never seen the road again. It'd done something like 283K when he killed it.Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2022 11:08 amYeah, Dodgy Tom's, nicked from the beige thread where a lot when Mumsnet about it.Scruffy Bodger wrote: ↑Thu Jun 09, 2022 10:49 amThat'd be why Is that a photo of someone else's car?Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Wed Jun 08, 2022 1:28 pm

Re: Eddie Honda's wheels of steel (and occasionally alloy)
Tommy's JAAAG UPDATE
Some followers of this thread may remember this rusty pipe that stopped Jaaag repairage way back when.
It's the heater return pipe. Plenty of the double pipe versions on Ebay UK which are used on the 4.0 with the blower. Fuck all of the single pipes which are used on the 3.2 and 4.0 NA. Apparently you can still get the blower version from JLR, but the plebs version is NLA.
Rather than piss about phoning/emailing the random Jaaag breakers to be dinghied with a "no", I started scouring Ebay smarter, and found one...IN AMERICA.
Thanks to the Ebay global shipping program it's here 15 days later and isn't the same one as in the photos. It's actually in BETTERER condition. Fuck all you wankers advertising a single wheel nut and raise your fucking game.
Busy this weekend, so I'm going to see if I can escape for the next one.

Haven't needed to buy anything from Real Steel for ages, must go and look at their catalogue now!
