Re: What did you do today?
I tried to start the car this morning to go a shopping and there was nothing when I turned the key. Warning lights came on and didn't dim, no clicks.
It worked fine earlier in the week, so I used the Landrover and had a look this afternoon.
Starter OK when I stuck a screwdriver across to the solenoid terminals, so it might well be the relay between the keyswitch and starter sitting there next to the fuse box. Looks original so it's done 50 years. Cheapest price for a repro is £20 so it will get a nice plastic one harvested from the knackers yard.

∆∆ Looking at that wiring I should mention that the old looking plastic inline fuse is factory fitted. Seemingly it was beyond them to source a larger fuse box.
The later fuse is my addition, wish I could remember what it's for.

A few pics from a little local gathering yesterday. As a newcomer to the area, all this was new to me except the Crab and the S2 Sovereign.

That transporter with the C15 on the back has to be a hell of a lot more comfy than driving the C15. Bloody awful things that should be burnt on sight.

I like them as do some others on here I believe. I won't name them in case they suddenly start experiencing posting issues.
Maybe we ought to start a thread dedicated to them a la the spaz chariot one on the beige? That'd keep you busy editing and deleting posts wouldn't it?

Re: What did you do today?
I had to drive one for a job years ago. It appeared designed to cripple me due to terrible seats and pedals at such weird angles it used to make my dodgy knee swell up so I'd limp when I got out.
