This is insane money and far exceeds what they're worth as a riding experience, and that is coming from me who's a fan of them!

At £6,300 I suppose this is cheap for a Powervalve today. 1987 so will this be a Jap built bike?

I couldn't afford one of them when they were cheap and ended up with a RD250DX instead which was a poor substitute...

Back when I was 18 in 1988 these were treated with equal levels of awe and trepidation. Even then they had a following and would change hands for £1500 which was a lot of money for an old bike back then.

£10,000.

I never had the chance to ride one back then. Did you?

Here's another bike that never seemed to enter bargain basement territory.

I can't say I've ever had the chance to ride one of these either. If back in the 80s you ticked the unlimited capacity box for your Norwich Union rider policy and bought one of these six pot beasts then please let me know what they're like.
