Re: Blankety Blank
I seem to remember my 190E being similarly (un)equipped with front speaker vents covering nothing at all.

My XF doesn’t have a heated screen or heated seats , but neither does it have any blanks. WTF?

Re: Blankety Blank
Ford were canny with the Mk2 Focus in that the controls are housed in a plastic insert that goes into the dashboard. Lower spec ones like mine get a different style of insert from higher spec cars. I haven't got switch blanks, therefore, just fewer switches and more plain plastic. Cruise control and various other ancillaries go on the steering wheel and column stalks respectively, again reducing dashboard clutter. The only real switch blank in mine is the 'TSC off' button, as there is no traction control.

I suppose the inevitable time will arrive when instead of a dash blank all you will see in your Mk3 Tesla Popular Plus is a dialogue box.....

Re: Blankety Blank
Later XF and no doubt others have this - heated seats are on the touchscreen - no error message they just don’t appear when not fitted.mercrocker wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 5:14 pm I suppose the inevitable time will arrive when instead of a dash blank all you will see in your Mk3 Tesla Popular Plus is a dialogue box.....
