- I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

I used to have one just like that, albeit a red and a 'Flight' special edition which meant power steering, alloys and, I think, a temperature gauge. Good little car in all sorts of ways. Has that one got PAS?

That's a good thing, you're in luck. The ones without power steering are hateful to drive.Warren t claim wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 4:55 pmYes it has!Missy Charm wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 4:53 pm I used to have one just like that, albeit a red and a 'Flight' special edition which meant power steering, alloys and, I think, a temperature gauge. The thing is, if I really wanted to trundle around in it until I got bored I could have borrowed it for a week or so for free. Now I'm left with having two cars, one of which is a big JEEP* taking up precious parking space on my road.

I've had countless number of unassisted Mk3 Festers without PAS and never found it a problem. Although this does have PAS it's not over-assisted and it heavier than the Range Rover to twirl the tiller on.Missy Charm wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 4:57 pmThat's a good thing, you're in luck. Re: Got Pissed. Bought A Car I Don't Need.
The unassisted one I drove was of similar vintage to the car you've just bought and the steering was horrifically heavy. It was a work pool car, though, so was no doubt buggered in some way or other. The steering on the Mk2 wasn't bad, as I recall. Perhaps it was just that car...Warren t claim wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 5:02 pmI've had countless number of unassisted Mk3 Festers without PAS and never found it a problem.
