I'd rather be in a metal 4 wheeler than a plastic 3 wheeler where fire is concerned, especially if the fire usually starts at the back.

The blowback if it went off in that underpass might have been interesting *Hooli wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 6:59 pmFucking hell, that was a proper boom.NorfolkNWeigh wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 6:22 pm

Maybe not on the one I posted. A methane fire in Italy apparently.

Re: Crash! Bang! Wallop! - 2022 Edition
Southampton City had bendy-buses about 20 years ago. Much vaunted as part of the New Future Without The Motor Car, they wrecked two of them on their own stoo-pid speed humps prompting a complete withdrawal. They were an utter pain in the arse on the roads and as with most buses, completely empty three-quarters of the time.
There's a great long bar in Rock & Roll heaven.......

Best known as the 'free bus' in London village with 3 sets of doors to escape any Hector's. Although bendy, they were blagged through as non-articulated so the bus co's didn't have to re-licence all their drivers. Havoc caused on many London street not designed for such monstrosities with cars hit and mirrors taken out.

- I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Bendy busses were a fucking pain in London. So very difficult to get past in the traffic. That was Livingstone’s idea to make London a “modern European city”. Oddly enough London is a very old English city and they were as out of place as a beret on a halibut.
Boris promised to get rid of them in his manifesto for mayor. Weird, a politician keeping his promises.
