None that I can see but I guess it's like doing some plumbing for someone and then not invoicing them.

That genuinely doesn't compute with your inner bean counter does it.LynehamHerc wrote: ↑Sat Mar 05, 2022 6:32 pm None that I can see but I guess it's like doing some plumbing for someone and then not invoicing them.

Re: 405 Quasar Estate
It's getting better. I've still not done the side trims or front bumper yet and the roof is a right state. The clay bar certainly takes a bit out of the polishing, seems to be far easier and the Autoglym, Bilthamber combo works well too. There are some deep scratches on the passender side doors, no way they will polish out and still can't find my paint renovator to even help with them Looks like I might have to buy an artists brush and some paint?
CLINT wandered by and it got his approval, he's just bought a ZX estate apparently, not seen it yet tho. He wouldn't mop it for me as old Pug lacquer gives him the fearz.
I've also noticed that the rear plate is the original dealer one, it matches the dealer stamp in the book I got with it, maybe I'll get 2 new ones made up at some point when feeling a bit more flush?

Halfrauds will wix you a tin of spray up for a out a tenner iirc. It's better value than the touch ups. I just spray some i side the lid and use a fine paint brush.

Re: 405 Quasar Estate
Just had a quick search and it seems they've stopped doing it? I got the last can mixed up from a mate who used to spray cars from his supplier but he's packed it in now. I'm assuming the paint code is on the inner wing so will have to have a look.

Re: 405 Quasar Estate
There's still lots of little cons and fiddles on ebay that they seem to do fuck all about. Even when you read the small print they still fuck you over.
