C6 Replacement. No luxury or wafting

Post by Frogchod »

I'm keeping it simple this time.
This thing is as complicated as a knife and fork...

A C15 pick up by Durisotti.
It used to belong to a friend of mine, took a few years to get my mits on it.
Just needed a rear beam, bumper and a few bits of welding. Worst bit was at base of windscreen.
Treated it to a Cheapo respray too.

That does look a tidy little thing. I still have a hankering for another Renault Extra pick up, the one I had wanted a shit load of work then when we sold the house I had to sell a lot of motors. The guy I sold it to never finished either and I think it was scrapped, sadly

Nice. The only way it could be better** is if it was Visa 650 twin power and 3 stud wheels.

They're rare over here too.
It's not on my insurance companies data base...
It's now on my classic policy after I provided photos and links to Durisotti.

Ohh that’s fab well bought and probably more useful than most would think too.

Also classic policy?tell me more as I have the 59 2cv being painted and subsequently delivered here in the next couple of months.
Just when I thought I was out they dragged me back in.
