I have a pop up gazebo for extra cover outside, when in the camper.
Not one of the shitty Argos things, the ones that almost all market traders/show traders use.
I can hang off the frame of it, feet off the floor.
Bought it from XL Moto. Either them or 24MX are usually doing a good deal on them, they're sold as race tents for the pits, as I say, not flimsy shit. As long as they're set up right and you use ratchet straps to tie them down properly, they're quite a lot easier than an awning.
I've got 2.

So where do you keep the pram or kick off your shoes etc?
I'm not sure suede beetle crushers would survive outside in the rain.

Only took the pram camping once - it lived outside on the bike rack with a motorbike cover on it. Portapotti comes out of the under-seat locker at night and the shoes go in there. If we're really organised I stack two under-bed plakky boxes on the back mattress over the engine, fill them up with crap and slide 'em under the van at night.....

I usually take fishing tackle and always take my mobility scooter so it's somewhere to keep things out the way should weather be a bit gloomy.

I have a garage at the back of my caravan, which I can put all of my shit. I can also expand it by height to take a bike. It just means that the single bed at the back is a bit higher.

You're a bad influence, I've been looking at 5th wheel set ups in America, you don't half get a lot of van for the money! What does yours weigh in traveling trim?

The electrics are all working now after my friend has installed breakers and wired everything in. Leisure battery is absolutely bollocksed though. Powers lights when on charge through the 240v but fuck all else when battery off charge or 240 disconnected. Water pump works but bathroom tap doesn't,gas all works but the water pump filter housing is leaking so that will be replaced soon. Going to replace tyres and hopefully get away in next fortnight for a couple of nights.

The tap will more than likely be the microswitch. Cheap enough to buy.

There's no damp in the bathroom and wife prohibited me from using it so it can stay broken!
