Re: 405 Quasar Estate
It's only taken me 4 x 405s to realise that the fuel flap has a holder for the cap I saw it in the cars manual the other day. Idiot...
In other news the rev counter that did work now doesn't.

Re: 405 Quasar Estate
Overtaking something earlier and the rev counter fixed itself, must do something about the sporadic heater.
I suspect a lot of the damp is getting in via the rear lights, TADTS, one has a bit of damage so will have to see if I can sort a matching pair from somewhere.

Re: 405 Quasar Estate
It's a Bosch pump so will be getting fed a bit of golden elixir at some point when it warms up a bit and a mild tweak I should think? £1.50 a litre is irking me lately.Warren t claim wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 2:29 pm I'm sorry to sound all AS begsy skinflint, but does this have a Bosch or Lucas pump?

Re: 405 Quasar Estate
A freebie off Facebook locally and 10 minutes work should keep the worst off. Not quite big enough but it'll do till I can find a bigger bit of lino.
However, working in the car has shown up a definite source of ingress. Door seal or roof rail? The latter I'd have thought so that roof lining is coming out sooner than later by the looks of it.

Ungrateful fucking cars... its not been the same since the belts were done. The temperature is fluctuating whereas on the 120 mile trip when I bought it it stayed cock on 82 degrees. I went to see if there was any more air in it just and snapped the bloody screw off
