Re: French scummy mummy bus
I'm now back home. Including all the running about and traffic on the a46 on way home I've achieved a total mpg of 38.4 over the the weekend. No fault codes or warming lights either which is refreshing.

Warming lights are no good in this hot weather. Unless the aircon works that is.
35mpg is fine imo. That's all I'm getting from the audi.

I get around 32 to 34 locally. Skegness is all country lanes pretty much from me unless you go the a46 route and end up in traffic. I can live with high 30s. My old bmw 318 e36 only managed 37 on a run at 60mph to Newquay.

I am indeed back, but I didn't meet up with Bub while over that way.

Re: French scummy mummy bus
In a moment of blind faith I rode my old RD250DX to Skeggy from near Chesterfield for a bag a chips, one of the few rides where the motor didn't eat itself in new and expensive ways and it managed to return under its own power.

Re: French scummy mummy bus
We as a family love the place. The last time I went with the tourer we stayed in the caravan park right next door to Ingoldmells market/theme park. We've been that often, we have our own favorite cafes and restaurants.

Re: French scummy mummy bus
It's a staple of childhood if you grew up in the Midlands. When I was young we went with a tourer to either coral beach or greenacres in Ingoldmells. Once stopped at water leisure park opposite butlins but was mainly coral beach until my dad had the van sited on greenacres for a year. We stopped on the promenade weekend just passed. Me and the wife are talking about getting another tourer as the c4 can tow 1500kg but eventually looking to get a static in Norfolk. We occasionally went to vauxhall in Yarmouth and my wife's parents had a static in Heacham. My wife loves Norfolk.
