No, I see what happened. Someone put a ratchet strap around the whole back of the car and tightened it way too hard. That makes sense, the dent in the trunk lines up.

Got the general shape mostly back. Bit more work needed yet but that's better.

Yessir. There's rubberized paint on the inside of the panel still which needs to come off really, that's making it difficult to beat.

Heat heat scrape scrape.

Got that far and it was too hot to hang around in there upside down tonight. The heat gun made it worse.

I need a smaller scraper, using one I found in a box of random stuff from the purchase of the car.

It's sat in the workshop right now, I need to get some gas but that gonna have to wait.
Between times the lawn mower and basketball hoop need fixing so I might use the flux wire for that.

Why didn't they do that in the first place? It's got to be easier than fucking about with filler.
