I always struggle to get mine to stay on the nipple's, then once actually on and greased it's a bugger to get off. Any pro tips?

Sounds like the "jaws" are too grippy. I don't know what type of gun you have but I had to buy a new end for mine (it just threaded on in place of the original) as it was doing the same. You can just get the ferrule bit or buy a new cranked pipe - I find the flexi ones are hard to keep gripped while applying the pressure.

Re: What did you do today?
When I welded a repair in the side of the van, even though I was careful the side warped with the heat. Fantastically thin french metal, or at least that's what I'm blaming. The side of the van had lost its rigidity and would spring in and out, called oil canning. So I researched on YouTube and decided as I'm in the process of repainting it now would be a good time to sort it, or fill it full of wob! It only bloody worked! Heat it up and cool it down quickly. The side is much stronger now. Made a start on the filler work too. I'm not great at bodywork but it's starting to take shape.

I should imagine the drumming would have been worse than ever if you hadn't sorted it....I replaced a front wing on my R4 van once, blimey that was thin too - even if it was factory.

I actually left the county today. The furthest I’ve driven for about 12 months. Seeing the old crate on my folks’ driveway for the first time since 2019!
I was really looking forward to seeing what the ‘new’ A14/A1 stretch was like - turned out to be just a new view to look at while sitting in stationery traffic.

Turned my (sorned) van around. First time it has moved in months, second time since October. Started instantly, bone dry inside, no aggro from the brakes. Not so much as a tick from the Zetec’s hydraulic tappets. Some moderns are ok!

Re: What did you do today?
On the advice of our leader Career, I disconnected the air intake temperature sensor on the van. It has put the management light on but now there is no warning chime and limp home mode.
This to me means it is the sensor at fault. Still waiting for the new one to arrive from eBay. I've been conned with the quick delivery.

Hmm possibly, unfortunately with modern shit like this you really need to look at the live data to see exactly what is happening.
