Went in the ST. Stupid exhaust is banging like a twat into the body and spring. I'll have to see not only a out changing the hangers but maybe getting some of that bandage stuff so when it does hit it don't clank as much.

Roland is a poor substitute for Billy Bunter.

N/s headlight bulb out on the Forester.
Pulled it out, dipped filament clearly blown. Shoved a new H4 bulb in.
Tried the switch, but n/s light still out.
So swapped the o/s bulb and the n/s bulb around.
O/s bulb now out, while n/s bulb on. Fair enough, duff new bulb even though it looks fine. It happens.
Put another new bulb in the o/s headlight.
Still nothing, and now the o/s sidelight isn't working either. I hadn't touched the sidelight or the wiring.
Swapped the H4 bulbs around again, as I'd no further spares to try.
Now no lights whatsoever.
Brilliant.

Re: What did you do today?
I stripped the tyres from my 17 inch BBS Style 5 cross spokes (BMW deep dish) in order to get them blasted and powder coated, to find one had a flat spot. Repeated attention with a Thor mallet and a hot air gun improved matters but they're not really good enough to spend £240 on.
